Furniture For The Intoxicated: Nightclub Interiors
You’d be forgiven for thinking that within the dark depths of a night club, the furniture within hardly matters this is false! Those responsible for designing club interiors may initially be focused on the aesthetics of the club but there are some practical elements to remember.
Contemporary furniture purchased for a clubbing venue has got to be very strong and hard-wearing due to the shear amount of people using it every night. Furnishings can be easily damaged in the wake of drunkeness and high-heel wobble falls that occur as a result of alcoholic overindulgence. Any furniture in your club needs to be easy to clean we’ve all witnessed the calamities of intoxicated people spilling drinks in various directions like a five year old! Choosing larger tables can help aid the prevention of spilled drinks. Tables should be selected with the seating in mind. You should measure the distance between the floor and the table top to ensure tables are not too high, nor too low. Glass table tops can look tasteful but are much harder to keep clean than their wooden counterparts, so keep this in mind.
The similarities between drunken individuals and children become even clearer when considering that sharp-cornered club furniture is also a bad idea, even if you do own a well stocked first aid box on the premises!
Solid, leather modular seating is also a comfortable, attractive option and its components are easy to shift should you wish to change the layout of a room in your club for a change or specific event. Modular seats even come in rounded-back varieties, giving you even more layout options than provided by angled, parallel versions alone. They also are much easier to keep clean than fabric settees and sofas. You should consider in investing in some sturdy and aesthetically pleasing bar stools also if you want to add a touch of elegance.
